How can I cultivate a relationship with my body?
In modern life we have grown accustomed to rush through everything and we start to develop an attitude of taking small basic needs for granted.
As a very simple practice, but most challenging for so many of us, as it forces us to slow down and notice.
I would suggest that you gently start to notice your small needs moment to moment.
๐ฟ Start to notice your sitting position, wherever you are. Do you need to readjust your seat? If so, do it as you feel the need.
๐ฟ Feeling thirsty? Instead of waiting or pushing through the thirst. Drink water as soon as you notice your thirst.
๐ฟ Feeling tired? Sit down down and rest for a few minutes. Feel your body being held by the sofa, as you take these few minutes for yourself.
We are so used to override the body that itโs good practice to start in the small things, creating more connection in small doses.
