When the allostatic load (the amount of accumulated stress in your system + long term adaptive responses to it) is high you will be over reactive to people, to sensory input and to life in general.
Doing somatic courses and somatic practices all day long does not heal your nervous system. In fact, in most cases, it will add to the allostatic load, creating more problems.
