One thing that will hinder your life, if you keep doing it…
Worrying
Constantly looking for what’s wrong with you or how to fix your health and your life will keep your body in a state of alert and lack.
Scanning for threat is, more often than not, an unconscious habit of a system “stuck” in chronic stress. Many of us don’t even know we are in this state since it has become our status quo.
Observe your thoughts and try to feel how worrying thoughts translate into your body: as sensations such as contraction, tension, bracing, pain etc…
Worry will keep you stuck in survival.
It primes your mind only to think about what is wrong. You will forget what is good. Gratitude won’t even register.
Worry and peace don’t go together.
And your nervous system can’t heal in a constant state of worry.
So just for today…
Take a break.
Take a breath.
And meditate on the words below while having a nice cup of tea. 🥰
