Healing also means a change in momentum
If you often used to feel low and “depressed” your new momentum might look like more impatience, irritation or anger.
If you struggled with anxiety, the beginning of a new momentum might feel/look like flatness, lack of interest in life or laziness…
A new momentum might not always feel good. It can often bring up deeper unprocessed emotions to the surface.
It’s helpful to bear in mind that a new momentum is just a period of transition, when your system can start to heal at a deeper level and finally switch gears from survival to more aliveness.
Patience and sticking to the momentum you already started will bear much fruit further down the line, as you will finally start to live your life more authentically.
During these transition periods, make sure you have effective interventions and guidance from someone who has experience in deeper healing.
The more you begin to be ok with the discomfort of these emotions that arise in the beginning of a new momentum, the smoother your journey will be.
Have you noticed different momentums in your healing journey?
