If your nervous system is often in shutdown (feeling fatigued, unmotivated, disconnected, helpless, low in energy and mood)…
It means you have used your sympathetic energy (fight/flight) to push through life for a very long time and now your system is extremely overwhelmed.
If you continue to use more push in order to come out of shutdown, you will continue to feed the shutdown loop in your system.
A paradigm shift is needed to heal from this state.
It can start with the simple thought of allowing your body and nervous system time and space to recover from years of pushing through life using survival energy.
You need to start somewhere.

🌿 The solution is to slow down.
🌿 To gently use resources (pick a few that work for you and stick with them for a while).
🌿 Simplify your life. Less multitasking.
🌿 Prioritise co-regulation with people you love and trust.
🌿 Spend more time in nature.
🌿 Eat less processed food.
Always keeping in mind that a body in a state of collapse is in a state of overwhelm. It’s not about fancy protocols or complicated ideas.
