It’s definitely helpful to understand, putting the pieces of the puzzle together.
But this can easily become a hindrance to healing. An identity. A stuck point.
You are much more than an attachment style.
🌿 You can never compare yourself with anyone. I know it can be tempting to try putting ourselves in a neat box. But there is only one of you. You have a box of your own.
What is it like to be you?! Be curious, play, explore.
I’m not writing any of this as fake positivity. I know life can be challenging. It’s hard at times. I know that there are periods of intense pain, especially when old wounds come up to the surface.
BUT
Never forget that no matter how hard and how difficult it has been or/and still is. You have a core Self. A healthy part of your being in the background. It has always been there from the beginning and it still is.
