A felt sense of safety is the foundation for all healing

Survival is the highest priority for your body.

If you are keeping it in a state of high alert, it will be keeping up the fight.

This means, that your body will also be fighting against things that are supposed to help, i.e. expensive supplements, therapy sessions, diets, pharmaceuticals etc….

The body will refuse to heal if it feels threatened by all the pressure you keep putting on yourself to heal.

All the healing information overload you keep on consuming and all the different interventions you keep adding to your load, will continue to perpetuate and solidify the pressured state you are already so familiar with.

If you don’t address the survival baseline your body is operating under, nothing will work. Or it might work only temporarily.

At this state your body will be simply rejecting interventions or taking in each intervention as a signal to more overwhelm.

If you have been trying to heal from chronic stress and chronic health conditions and it seems like you can’t get to the bottom of it…

Perhaps it’s time to take a break and reevaluate.

Perhaps all the things you have been doing are only creating more stress and confusion.
