It’s possible to train your nervous system to be more flexible. When you become aware of your own triggers and with more capacity in your system you can start to replace your current unhelpful responses with new ones. 

This way you finally start to surf the ups and downs of life instead of being completely taken over by the waves every time a challenge shows up.
